I began my PhD work at UMass Amherst, working with Oliver Brock. Our 2008 paper on Interactive Perception for autonomous manipulation of planar articulated objects was the first to use complex forceful interactions with the environment as part of the perception process.
Since 2008, many brilliant researchers have used interactive perception to solve challenging problems.
I created this website to keep track of the exciting work in the field and to introduce the any interested readers to these ideas.
Please let me know if you have any questions, want to suggest a correction / update to the website or for general discussion about interactive perception
